This page explains what Arioron collects when you visit this site, and what we do with it. It is deliberately short, because we collect very little.

What we collect

We run our own analytics on our own infrastructure. There is no Google Analytics here, no advertising network and no third-party tracker. For each page view we record the path, the referring page, your device type, browser and operating system, and an approximate country resolved locally from a database we host ourselves.

Your IP address is hashed before it is written to our database. We never store it in a readable form.

Cookies

We ask before we set anything. If you accept cookies from the banner shown on your first visit, we set two first-party cookies: one identifies your browser so we can tell a returning visitor from a new one, and the other groups your page views into a single session. If you choose "Necessary only," neither is set and no visit is recorded. Either way, nothing is shared with anyone, and nothing is used for advertising. Your theme preference is stored locally in your browser and never sent to us regardless of your cookie choice.

Information you send us

If you use the contact form or apply for a role, we store what you send so we can reply. We keep it on our own servers, we do not sell it, and we do not pass it to third parties.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to inquiry@arioron.com and a person will answer.
